Two Gurtner Lab researchers recognized at ASPS

The American Society of Plastic Surgery recognized two Gurtner Lab researchers for their presentations during their October meeting.

Dharshan Sivaraj's abstract presentation, titles "Pathologic Mechanical Signaling Mediated by Rac2 Promotes The Foreign Body Response To Biomedical Implants," was selected as the best presentation of his session. 

Katharina Fischer, MD, also received the Outstanding Paper Presentation Award for her resident abstract session for "Decoding and modulation of spiking activity of the sciatic nerve in an awake and moving rodent."
