Members of the Gurtner Lab present at the Innovations in Wound Healing 2024 Annual Meeting

The Gurtner Lab was grateful to represent the University of Arizona Department of Surgery by presenting talks at the Innovations in Wound Healing 2024 Annual Meeting! Dr. Gurtner was invited to host a session on wound healing and fibrosis. In addition, Dr. Chen was selected to host the session for top scoring oral presentations.

Congratulations as well to Katharina Fischer on presenting her latest works in her oral presentation and poster. Katharina's abstract was chosen as a top scoring abstract for the meeting!

This meeting was an opportunity for a mix of educators, clinicians, and scientists that share an interest in new approaches to tissue repair in the human body and the next evolutions of these treatments. The opportunity to participate in and contribute to these events helps us all to continue the advancement of regenerative therapies and building on our knowledge of wound care.
