Maia and Kellen attend the Cancer Metastasis Conference

Maia presented on her work "Investigating the effects of targeting cancer metastatic FOXC2 on wound healing" at the Cancer Metastasis Conference in San Francisco! Drs. Witte and Warnecke from the Department of Surgery also attended.

Several lymphedema and cancer experts were very interested in how the FOXC2 transcriptional factor, which is implicated in cancer metastasis, may affect wound healing.
