Fleur Maturo

Fleur Maturo is the Lead Clinical Research Coordinator for Dr. Geoffrey Gurtner. She was born and raised in the Philippines where she graduated Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Communication at the University of the Philippines before migrating to the United States in 2007. She is a certified Paralegal and a licensed Phlebotomist. She also earned her M.S. in Clinical Research Management at Arizona State University in 2022. Her background is a mix of marketing, patient service development, regulatory oversight, and clinical research management. She joined the Department of Surgery in April 2022 to take the lead in initiating Dr. Gurtner’s clinical research projects here in the University of Arizona. Her main role is taking charge of subject recruitment and enrollment in multiple studies in the department with focus on diabetes, wound healing, and aging.
