Artem A. Trotsyuk, PhD, is an assistant research professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Arizona, College of Medicine – Tucson. He completed his PhD in Bioengineering and Masters in Computer Science with an AI specialization at Stanford University, and his BS in Biology at the University of California, Davis. While at Stanford University, Dr. Trotsyuk focused on developing a smart bandage that implements a closed-loop AI processing system for sensing and therapeutic delivery into a wound bed. His work has been scaled from pre-clinical models and is currently being tested in clinical applications. At the University of Arizona, Dr. Trotsyuk’s work focuses on computational biology, wound healing, aging and clinical data science.
