The Gurnter Lab presents at the Wound Healing Society (WHS) and Symposium on Advanced Wound Care (SAWC) Conference
and also represents the Diabetic Foot Consortium
The Gurtner Lab attends and presents at the Wound Healing Society (WHS) and Symposium on Advanced Wound Care (SAWC). In addition, the Liechty lab also had several presentations. It was an enjoyable time had by all, and the collaboration between labs was great! Two of our research team members gave presentations during the conference. Katharina Fischer's presentation was titled "Comprehensive transcriptional characterization of genetic and pathophysiologic diabetic wound healing". Hudson Kussie's presentation was titled "Two Avena Sativa Derived Therapeutics Accelerate Wound Healing via Distinct and Nonoverlapping Mechanisms". Dr. Gurtner also gave an update on the progress of the Diabetic Foot Consortium on the third day of the conference.
Lastly, Dr. Kellen Chen won the Woundshark Innovation Lunch Competition!
The team is looking forward to attending the 2024 Conference!
